Pad Thai goes well with Chinese sausage. I do like rice noodles. Warm, tasty, crunchy thank you Watties. Now just to convince my hubby to like it as much as I do! For the sauce: Stir together the fish sauce, brown sugar, tamarind, sriracha and lime juice in a small bowl until well combined. Thank you very much for sending me the packet to try out and thank you to Watties for producing such a good product. Love how there are no added colours or flavours. Very little flavour. My partner and I loved it! Pad Thai is my partner's favourite takeaway so this was a nice alternative. We enjoyed the Quick and Easy Chicken Tai Pad, I would make it again but as we like lots of sauce I would use two Watties Wok Creations. Used cashews instead of peanuts gave a softer taste to the dish. Blend or process peanuts into coarse meal. So quick and easy also very tasty. This was soooo simple and very tasty. easy 5 stars given. It looked like I had made more of an effort than I actually did. Changed the peanuts to cashews . Add the chicken and shallots and cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is opaque and cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes. Wow! Really delish!! Agave can be substituted with 3 tablespoons of sugar. (from step #6) and continue stir-frying, mixing everything together for 1-2 minutes. Bring water to a boil in a large pot, about 5 minutes. Most people won't think twice about serving basic cornbread when is on the table. The whole family will love it. With a good squeeze of lime juice helping, I was able to cut that salt taste somewhat. Mash it and transfer the mud-like mixture to a strainer set into a bowl. Yummy dish! Was so easy and simple to make tasted so good would recommend. Scatter over half of the peanuts and quickly toss together. Would still have it again. my husband really enjoyed it as well. Well done Watties a winner! For a newbie to cooking Thai food, this was made to measure. Like having Thai takeaways at home! When I make it again I will add some mixed vegetables to give it colour appeal. Yummy evoking memories of first trying this dish at a Dominion Road restaurant family dinner, Chicken Pad Thai. No nasty aftertaste. We must be greedy it only fed two of us but then we did have small seconds!! Thought it was a bit bland not spices enough, simple flavoursome meal, was quick easy and enjoyed by the flat. Easy to cook, kind to the waist, cheap on the pocket - a fabulous taste. Quick and easy to make, tasted great and the whole family enjoyed it. Yummy and quick great for full time families, wish it was GLUTEN FREE for coeliac. Needed more fish sauce and perhaps something else??
