The room was excellent with a full kitchen, a huge soaking tub and a small balcony. Two couples stayed at this resort in August as part of a 7 day VT/NH vacation. All the staff was very friendly and accomodating, especially Carroll. We stayed in a studio which was a bit small for a family of 4, but we did not want to dish out more for the next size up as it is a bit pricey. With the Pemigewasset River meandering along the back lawn of the RiverWalk, many owners and guests enjoy walking along its rocky banks during the different seasons. Absolutely amazing food at La Vista and the added bonus of having the ice skating rink really gave the resort a step up amongst the other resorts in the area. (Even when we ran into a little self induced issue in the room) We hope to head back up for the ice castles in the winter and now know where to stay. When we get off Exit 32 at Loon, we are home.
For those with young children, the arcade, heated swimming pool, and the winter ice skating rink are always great activities to enjoy as a whole family. Ban and I had an amazing stay at the River walk resort.
The game room was a hit with our daughter. They look forward to skiing with their young granddaughter soon.
